TRUBA MANUNGGAL’S PLAN TO BUILD COAL FIRED POWER PLAN IN BANGKA BELITUNG 2 X 30 MW

JAKARTA, July 9th , 2008:  PT Truba Alam Manunggal Engineering Tbk (“Company” or “Truba Manunggal”) is pleased to inform that the Company has been awarded an EPC contract worth USD 29.7 million and Rp 410 billion  that was signed  July 4th, 2008 between PT PLN Persero as project owner and a consortium of PT Truba Alam Manunggal Engineering Tbk, with China Shanghai (Group) Corporation for Foreign Economic & Technological Cooperation (SFECO) of China  to build  coal-fired power plant in Bangka Belitung 3 (PLTU 3 Bangka Belitung) with a capacity of 2 x 30 MW, located in Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia.

 

 

Signing ceremony was held before the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The Bangka Belitung power plant is planned to be operational on September 2010.

 

The President Director of the Company, Sidarta Sidik said that “The construction of PLTU 3 Bangka Belitung 2 x 30 MW project is Truba Manunggal’s form of support and commitment towards the Government fast track program in general and specifically to fulfill electricity need of the people of Bangka Belitung. ”
